Application dossier (Ecole Normale students)
The ENS Paris-Saclay offers high-level students motivated by research and/or further education the opportunity to pursue the ENS Paris-Saclay degree. Ecole Normale students are recruited based on an application dossier.

Candidates recruited through the standard student route can attain the status of Ecole Normale étudiants (students who are not connected to the French Civil Service). This status provides the same training and the same educational support as the Ecole Normale élèves (students who are connected to the French Civil Service). However, their administrative status is different to the Ecole Normale élèves: they are not recruited as trainee civil servants during their studies and are not subject to the ten-year commitment.
- the 1st year of their degree (equivalent of the 3rd year of an undergraduate degree - level L3): candidates in the 2nd year of their undergraduate degree (level L2) or equivalent must send their full application dossier by no later than 30/01/2020.
- the 2nd year of their degree (equivalent of the 1st year Master's degree - level M1): candidates in the 3rd year of their undergraduate degree (level L3) or equivalent must send their full application dossier by no later than 30/06/2020.
